Gisteravond, donderdag 30 Mei op pad met Felix Degenaar. Hoewel we klasgenoten waren op het conservatorium, en allebei in Groningen wonen, spelen we eigenlijk veel te weinig met elkaar. Vreemd want er was weer een goede click. Tja, verschillende circuits zal het wel zijn. We speelden voor “de Jazzcentrale” van Kars Veling. Die man heeft de mooiste optredens. In het kader van “de Kaastour” voor het merk “Old Amsterdam” verzorgt de Jazzcentrale verschillende “after party’s” in de theaters door heel Nederland. Ik heb de eer om hem te mogen vertegenwoordigen in Noord Nederland. Leuk was dat we speelden op de after party van de Edwin Evers Band. Daarin speelt tegenwoordig Hilvert Roorda, met wie ik in het verleden juist heel erg veel heb gemusiceerd. (Soms wel 100 x per jaar:)) Erg leuk om
deze oude vriend weer te zien na een veel te lange tijd. Het mag duidelijk zijn, de avond donderdag 30 Mei was een top-avond.
